JUN 2010
On Sunday June 20th 2010, there will be a DAY OF RECOLLECTION for lay Marists at the Marist
House (518 Pleasant Street, Framingham, MA 01701). It runs from 10:00 a.m. to about 3:00 p.m. with
registration beginning at 9.00 a.m. The price of registration is $10.00. Those attending bring their
bagged lunch. Coffee, soft drinks and Danish are provided for breakfast and a dessert for lunch.
The speaker will be Fr. Albert DiIanni, s.m. and the theme will be "WHAT DOES MARY MEAN FOR
MARISTS? One talk will try to answer that question, and a second talk will try to answer the question:
"Why Should Fr. Colin be Canonized?"
Holy Mass will be celebrated and there will be Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the afternoon,
at which several lay Marists will be professed.
Unfortunately this date is also Father's Day. However you can celebrate fathers the day before. You
can also take fathers to the Day of Recollection!
If anyone wants further information, please telephone Fr. Albert DiIanni in Boston at 617-262-2271.
